Hmmm not sure if I like this… but meh!
My submission for this weeks Illustration Friday topic ‘Dessert’.
I was aiming to finish this for the last Illustration Friday topic of ‘Star Gazing’, but didn’t have time in the end. I’m not overly keen on the end result but thought I’d post it for some feedback.
Ink on watercolour paper and then coloured in Photoshop.
The Illustration Friday theme this week is ‘Caged’. I always like doing anything bird related so here’s my contribution. I struggled trying to come up with a suitable background and I’m not entirely happy with this but it’ll do.
I first inked the outlines, scanned it in and added colour in Photoshop.
Really rubbish painting I just did in Photoshop. James Jean inspired.
I’m trying to paint more without overly using references - hense the terrible proportions!
