The Sketchbook Project Tour starts! My sketchbook is on it’s way around America and is in lovely New York at the moment. If your near by any of the tour locations why not pop in and take a peek. There are over 20,000 sketchbooks to look through so there’s plenty of variety… I wish I could go!
I’ve scanned in a few pages from the book so I’ll post them up as soon as I have a free few minutes.
More ‘Sketchbook Project’ work for you lovely people.
Look at the cute little birdie! (with the horrible textured background from the vanish on the previous page)
I’m using this book to experiment mainly, and it’s very enjoyable.
Another page from my sketchbook for ‘The Sketchbook Project’. There’s still time to join if you fancy a challenge :)
As promised, here is a scanned version of the piece I photographed a week or so ago. Unfortunately you can see the painting before it showing threw but oh well it’s only sketchbook work!
I’ve been working on my sketchbook for The Sketchbook Project. I chose ‘In Flight’ as my theme as I thought it would allow me to experiment with my favourite topic… birds! A topic I don’t often work on, unfortunately. (There’s still just over a month to apply if you’d like to create a sketchbook of your own.)
Hope you like the Illustration and sorry for the photograph as I couldn’t be bothered to plug my scanner in… It was created using red paint, tracing paper (to go over the parts I wanted to keep white), masking tape and a sponge!
