Evening!

Hey everyone!

It seems I’ve been away for a while… sorry! Been busy with work, helping people out and just generally relaxing, but I think it’s time to come back and start creating work again, so stay tuned! :)

Just a quick hello to let you know that I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth or anything…

I’ve been working traditionally lately which means I have to scan work in, and it’s safe to say I’m a little lazy when it comes to scanning. I’ll force myself to do it shortly and show you all what I’ve been up too :)

Also, L4D2 has taken over my life again (Why is zombie killing so much fun!?). So if you’d like to have a game, feel free to add me. My ID is ‘C.’.

Eventful week

Last week turned out to be a bit of a strange one!

Firstly I was in the basement at work doing some archiving and ended up dropping half of what I was carrying. I bent down awkwardly and (embarrassingly) split my trousers… ARG! I called my friend down and she lent me her cardigan to put round my waist and then we laughed about the whole thing. I managed to get home without any more embarrassment. They were my favourite work trousers as well! :(

Usual work days followed, then Thursday came. I’ve started to donate blood whenever the blood mobile it at our office and I’d booked an appointment for Thursday afternoon before I headed off home. Giving blood went smoothly. Got up and sat for a bit holding the little bandage on my arm while the nurses tended to other people. Anyway I looked down to see if I can take the bandage off and noticed I’d started bleeding so had to sit for a bit longer to make sure it stopped. I then left with my friend and started to walk back to my desk, however after getting half way I noticed my arm was bleeding quite a lot so

I’m so shocked! I viewed my email on my phone and it wouldn’t stop ringing with all the new followers and questions - it’s still going now.

Although I’m not sure what brought you all here, I hope you stay and enjoy my work (even when it’s terrible!).

Observation

I was sitting at my desk the other day and got quite annoyed at myself as I wasn’t working. I then realised that I’d sat down to begin drawing at 7pm only to lapse into my awful routine;

1. Watch TV and eat dinner

2. Decide I need to get up and do some actual work

3. Log into my computer

4. Look at my favourite blogs and check any comments/emails

(now this is where it all goes wrong…)

5. Follow various links and browse websites that I’m only looking on at aimlessly

6. Realise over an hour or two later that that’s all I’ve been doing

7. Start work at 8.30pm

8. Finish at 9pm to do a bit of exercise and reading before I go to sleep

9. I might do a bit more work at 10 until 11pm before I nod off.

Well it’s safe to say this has to stop, otherwise I won’t be producing very much.
