Well, my new laptop’s arrived so I can start painting again (yay!). I’ve been drawing whilst I’ve been away so I’ll scan those in soon and give you a more detailed update on what I’ve been up to.

Hey there!
Well, I’ll at work and thought I would post a little something seen as for some reason the website filter is offline. I’m sure it’ll be back on soon… Unfortuantely it blocks ALL of the decent websites and blogs so I don’t get to have a break where I surf the web for 5 mins anymore.
Lately it’s been a bit hectic. First my rabbit ‘Sumi’ had to go to the vets to have his teeth done again. This is the 3rd or 4th time he’s had to have it done and it worries me every time as he has to go under anesthetic. It’s not a case of the more anesthetic’s he has the higher the chance of him not making it, but instead with rabbits they can have say, 20 anesthetic’s and not be able to handle the 21st or they could have just 1 and not survive. Stressful! After that I had to watch him for a few days - he wasn’t happy in the slightest but he’s fine now and running around like a nutter!
Next I went to the doctors to check up about these headaches I’ve been getting everyday and she refered me to the opticians. I’ve always had excellent eye sight but most of my family wear glasses (apart from me and my brother) so I had an inkling my eyes would go down hill one day. Anyway, now I’m wearing glasses… they really don’t seem to make that much of a difference to my eye sight but they’re taking the strain off my eyes and thus getting rid of my headaches. Woohoo!
My dad’s got his operation on his spine in the next few weeks which will hopefully solve his problems, but that’ll be a day I’ll want to get over and done with rather quickly so I don’t have to worry! He’ll be fine but your head always wonders doesn’t it.
Also, I’ve noticed I’ve gained some new followers! Well hello there and welcome to my blog of random nonsense :D
Sorry for the long post but I hope you enjoyed reading it.
Here’s a little preview of what I’ve been working on lately. I tend to do half-a-dozen things at once and only finish something fully every now and then, but at least I’m working! As you can probably tell, the middle image is the one I’ve been working on the most.

I’ve just finished (well almost) painting the face on my current project and was utterly suprised how much a change of colour and a touch up can do.
I went to the loo and came back to find my boyfriend had added a few touches of his own. The pain! heh heh
