Artist Feature No. 3
I’ve decided for this Artist’s Feature to highlight someone who I don’t tend to watch often, but they are extremely talented and definetly deserve a glance.
Per Haagensen
I attended the same Illustration course at University with Per and was always amazed with the work he produced. It was always such a high standard, even when he was sketching or ‘messing around’ the work looked as if he’d slaved for hours over it.
Below is one of my favourite images which he showed to us. It was based on a brief we received consisting of a list of strange book titles from which we had to choose one and illustration it as best we could. Per chose the title ‘Without Regret’ and he’s illustrated it in such a comical manner!
