Lois van Baarle, aka ‘Loish’
I’ve been admiring this artist for the past few years but always seem to be drawn back to her images even when I stray away from her work for a while. Lois’s style stands out and what I love most about it is it’s traditional nature. It’s full of texture and what I can only explain as a painterly finish, like you would achieve by working traditionally rather than digitally. I highly recommend visiting one of Lois’s galleries as they are always inspirational, but for a taster I’ve included one of her latest pieces below;
