Q:Hi! I saw your recent submission to EatSleepDraw and checked out your portfolio. I love your style! I'm an illustrator myself (http://ladygreyillustration.com). I was wondering what types of mediums you used. Do you normally work digitally?

I really like your fashion illustrations, especially “He left beauty behind”. The colours are gorgeous, very vintage.
I tend to use a varied selection of mediums. Usually I think of what sort of image I like and then decide what medium it would look best in. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, but that’s life! I must admit that my heart lies with traditional mediums and at the moment I’m using Indian Ink with Japanese paint brushes. They give lines full of life. I did try to work digitally and it is nice, but it just didn’t feel ‘right’. So back to a good old pencil I went!
Just go with what you feel like using, even if its your first time trying it!
